The founder of Padmasiri Motors, he started the business in 1979 by repairing motorcycles with the experience gained from working in top-tier institutions in Sri Lanka. This business, which was started in 1979, achieved rapid growth due to his ability to properly resolve factory faults in vehicles such as motorcycles and three-wheelers imported to Sri Lanka at that time. At present, his son, Dammika Kumara, the current owner of Padmasiri Motors, is successfully running this business with years of experience in this field and further education and experience gained in Japan.
